- 5×10 (Walk-in Closet Size): Fits a mattress set, small couch, dresser, and several boxes. Ideal for a studio or 1-bedroom apartment.
- 10×10 (Half of a One-Car Garage): Holds the contents of a 1-2 bedroom apartment, including appliances, furniture, and boxes.
- 10×15 (Small Garage Size): Great for a 2-3 bedroom home, or larger items like pianos, couches, or dining sets.
- 10×20 (Standard Garage Size): Fits a full household of 3-4 bedrooms, including appliances, furniture, and boxes – or even a vehicle.

Yes, a lock is required to secure your unit. We recommend using a disc lock for the best security — and that’s the type we offer for sale at our facility! If you don’t have one, you can easily purchase a disc lock from us during office hours. They’re durable, tamper-resistant, and specifically designed for self-storage.
You can access your storage unit daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 7 days a week — giving you the flexibility to visit when it’s most convenient for you.
- Access Hours: These are the times you can access your storage unit — 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can come and go during these hours using your gate code.
- Gate Hours: Gate hours are the same as access hours — 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily — and refer to when the gate system allows entry to the facility.
- Office Hours: This is when our staff is available to assist you in person. At our Portage location, the office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Visit us during these times for rentals, payments, lock purchases, or questions.
